2024 Deal of the Year in Hungary

The 2024 Deal of the Year in Hungary was announced at the CEE Deal of the Year Awards banquet in Prague on April 1, 2025.

Since 2017, CEE Legal Matters has been presenting the Deal of the Year Award for recognizing and celebrating the largest and most important deals in Central and Eastern Europe.

We are thrilled to announce that the winner of the Deal of the Year 2024 for Hungary was "Corvinus and Vinci Airports’ Acquisition of Budapest International Airport from AviAlliance, Malton, and CDPQ", in which transaction KCG Partners played an important role as well.

The acquisition of Budapest International Airport by the Hungarian State was a landmark transaction—complex, challenging, and of great national significance. We are proud to have been part of this historic deal and congratulate to all parties and advisors involved on all sides of the deal who contributed to making this transaction a reality.
